Anaesthesiology

This department is the lifeline for all the surgical procedures done in the hospital. The Department is manned by Dr. P G George

Cardiology

Dr. Devarajan the head of the department is equally proficient in both Echo and TMT. Dr. Devarajan will be available on every Tuesday and Friday

Dermatology

Dr. Vinod K Nair manages this very sensitive department. It uses Laser treatment and handles all type of cosmetic dermatology

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

Emergency Department at Holy Cross Hospital provides 24hrs access to accident and emergency care.

ENT

The department is manned by Dr. Rajesh B.C and Dr. Harikumar B. Nasal endoscopy, FESS, Septoplasty Myringoplasty, Rhinoplasty and mastoid surgery are routinely done here.

Fertility Clinic

A nascent department of the hospital which already shows good results under the efficient leadership of Dr. Preetha P.R who is the first fellow in Clinical Embryology from the world renowned CMC, Vellore. The strength of the department lies in its perfect diagnosis of the root cause of infertility which in many cases can be rectified by major alterations in lifestyles.

Gastroenterology

The department is handled by Dr. Paul Cheruvathur G.......It routinely manages Upper GI Endoscopy and colonoscopy.

General and Laproscopic Surgery

With 892 major surgeries and 2307 minor surgeries handled per year the department of general surgery is one of the premier department of Holy Cross Hospital. The department undertakes all complex laproscopic surgeries using the most modern HD lap camera system. General Medicine

The department of General Medicine is manned by a team of two expert physicians, Dr. Sivadas J and Dr. Sayed Mueenuddin who are amply supported by an array of qualified staff. The department has a well-equipped Medical Intensive care unit and Critical care unit and also has facilities for dealing with all types of emergencies thus providing comprehensive medical care round the clock.

Gynaecology

Gynaecology and Obstetrics department is headed by two well experienced senior gynecologist in Pathanamthitta district, Dr. Sarada L and Dr. Sreedevi Antherjanam. They are assisted by a well experienced and skilled medical team. The Department undertakes all major laproscopic Gynarcological surgeries which ensure quick recovery and return to normalcy, a boon for working women

Nephrology

This department is headed by Dr. Joseph Vinu. Also have a well equipped modern dialysis unit followed by this department. This unit has 5 Fresenius 4008 S N G Machines, latest model Reverse Osmosis water treatment system. Extra corporeal procedures like plasmapheresis, hemoperfusion, peritonial dialysis and SLED are done here.

Neurology

The department has the services of both a Neurology Physician Dr. Benjamin Ramacha and Neurology Surgeon Dr. Rojin Abrham.

Ophthalmology

The department is handled by Dr. Sanjay Raju.

Orthopaedics

The department of Orthopaedics provides comprehensive medical care to relive pain, improve function and restoring quality of life to the individuals who suffer from musculoskeletal injury or disease.

Paediatric & Neonatology

The department provides comprehensive out - patient & in - patient care for sick infants and children up to the age of 13 years. The department has a well - equipped NICU with 3 phototherapy machine. The Department is managed by three efficient paediatrician - Dr. Manju Sekhar , Dr. Faizel Muhammed and Dr. Somarajan

RADIOLOGY

The Department provides ultrasound scanning and digital X - Ray. The Department is headed by Dr. Manjunatha V.
